This is it, the week to hit the road and spend some time with friends and family. AAA estimates that some 98 million people are expected to travel in the air and on the roads during this busy week. These days a phone can be your best friend. There are a number of features that can help keep your trip on track.
- Forget written directions! Utilize a voice guided navigation app on your phone. Be sure to test it before you hit the road. Here are a few we like:

- Turn on the emergency alerts setting on your phone. The how to varies a bit based on your device but the extra step is well worth it if you will be traveling to areas that you are not familiar with.
