We can make buying insurance a pleasurable experience. We can sit down with you, listen to you, find out what types of coverage you need and then customize a policy to protect your assets.

That philosophy was present from the beginning of Advocate Brokerage and while the business has grown, the thought process on which it was established has not changed a bit.  Whether you come to Advocate Brokerage for personal insurance, business protection or both, our attention to detail is the same.

Some exclusions may apply
Some exclusions may apply is a phrase often found in the fine print of offers from retailers.

In the world of insurance, an exclusion is: a provision within an insurance policy that eliminates coverage for certain acts, property, types of damage or locations.  Exclusions can be dangerous.

In a commercial property policy there are various types of losses that are not covered due to exclusions. Examples can include terrorist attacks, flooding, earthquake, utility failure and faulty workmanship.  The key to crafting an insurance package for your business is gaining an understanding of which exclusions could apply to your property and how they match up to the specific exclusions sited within the policy.

Why Advocate?

How then is Advocate different?  We get to know our clients, we work to gain an in-depth understanding of their business and we go through the exclusions in the policy. By reviewing each exclusion and understanding the losses that would not be covered as a result, we are better able to protect the assets of our clients.  While this may seem simple, it is something that we have found allows us to retain clients over the long run.  We become an Advocate in the true sense of the word; working by their side, pointing out possible risks, looking for exclusions that could result in an uncovered loss and filling in the gaps with additional protection.  Becoming their Advocate for every insurance need.
