Team Advocate was out in full force on June 2nd for the 2015 Steve’s Camp at Horizon Farms Gala, An Evening on the Hudson at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers.
Advocate Brokerage has a long history with Steve’s Camp at Horizon Farms. We are proud to be Corporate Sponsors for Steve’s Camp and have principals of the agency who are also individual supporters. Both Ron & Glenn Binday are long time members of the Board of Directors. Ron is an officer of the not-for-profit organization, currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Board.
The mission of Steve’s Camp aligns perfectly with our own philosophy of giving back to the communities we serve and helping those who may be less fortunate than ourselves. We are proud that our contributions over the years have helped many inner city teens to attend Steve’s Camp.
The gala was a huge success which will give the opportunity for more youth than ever to spend time at the camp developing healthy bodies, hearts and minds. New York Knicks legend and current board member John Starks attended the event along former teammates, Charles Oakley and Herb Williams. This year’s honoree was Robert A. Knakal, Chairman of New York Investment Sales at Cushman and Wakefield. Attending on behalf of Advocate Brokerage were: Ronald & Roslyn Binday, Kelly & Glenn Binday, Jeff & Denise Koslowsky, Elizann Arizmendi, Lynn & Walter Palma, Carol & Ron Gramolini, JoAnn & Charlie Binelli. We were also joined by our friends at Pure Insurance, Capron Hannay Levine and Michael Kelly.
In the words of one of the campers Steve’s Camp becomes “The most important 2 weeks of your life.” What an honor for us to be a part of it!
