We are here for you. If your business has been impacted by the Coronavirus we want you to know that we understand the troubling times you are going through and we want to do what we can to help.
In an effort to educate each client we serve, we want to provide some clarity during a time of uncertainty for our Commercial Insurance clients with regard to Business Interruption Coverage.
Business Interruption provides coverage for the actual loss of business income sustained when the loss is caused by either direct physical loss or damage to property. Therefore, unfortunately business interruption coverage will not apply to most of the businesses that have been affected by this pandemic. However, coverage determinations can be made by your insurer. Insurers will review each claim on a case by case basis.
If you have been impacted by the Coronavirus we hope that you will consider us part of your team. We want you to know that we are closely monitoring the situation on a daily basis and are happy to share the information with you.
