SCARSDALE, NY – Elizann Arizmendi, Personal Lines Marketing Manager at Advocate Brokerage, is one of 193 professionals to complete the first segment of Private Risk Management Association’s (PRMA), Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA) Certification. The CPRIA Certification is composed of six segments; the inaugural segment titled “The Fundamentals of Personal Risk Management”.
The CPRIA Certification is an educational curriculum built by and for high net worth risk and insurance specialists. The curriculum is a blended approach of interactive and self-study learning opportunities that can be accomplished remotely from any location providing members with the unique opportunity to advance their professional development while balancing the demands of their personal and professional lives. “Despite differences in experience, geography and tenure, all of the participants have already benefited from engaging in the CPRIA program. The value of interactive learning with professionals that work in the space is immeasurable.” said Jim Kane, President of PRMA.
Denise Koslowsky, Principal at Advocate Brokerage and one of the founding members of PRMA was excited to introduce this unique certification program to the staff at Advocate brokerage. Elizann Arizmendi is the first of the Advocate Brokerage team to begin the certification process. Elizann was excited about the educational opportunity because she feels that educating clients is such an important part of her day to day routine. She goes on to say “CPRIA appealed to me because the education portion is totally valuable. There are many agencies trying to set themselves apart. Staying relevant, knowledgeable and engaged in the industry is only going to help you stay connected to the customer.” As for the format of the CPRIA certification, she remarked “I enjoyed the way the courses were structured. I liked that there were different parts, from the individual online courses, to the live learning webinars, which were really helpful, to the test at the end.” Elizann is currently enrolled in the second segment of the CPRIA Certification, titled “Understanding the High Net Worth Universe” and is looking forward to continuing with the third segment titled “Strategic Coverage Placement” which begins enrollment in early 2016.
